What is Capoeira?

Capoeira was created and developed in Brazil when slavery was commonplace. 

             Capoeira is inspirational because it was born during the slaves search for freedom; this mortal dance is the manifestation of a rich culture that became the solutions to the difficult experiences of the day.  Capoeira therefore is steeped in a history of war and heroism, full of tradition and rituals that have perpetuated from the descendants of it’s founders until this current day. 

             It is both a fight and a dance; useful for self-defence but also beautiful and rhythmic (and is played to music). 

A Capoeira foi criada e desenvolvida no Brasil nos tempos da escravidão. 

             Nascida pela ância da procura da liberdade, luta dança mortal usada além de defêsa, mais como uma maniféstacão rica em cultura cheia de experiênciais, trazendo em sua história ancestral conhecimentos  trazidos do seu passado heróico e guerreiro, repleta de tradições perpetuadas pelos seus descêndentes até nossos dias atuais
